FLUID OUTRAGE
"BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME"
If you have been wondering where BangOut Entertainment, South Coast Music artist Fluid Outrage has been, I strongly suggest you download and listen to “Back For The First Time,” it will explain it all.
This album is a collection of 17 well picked songs owning real-world reflection mixed with street-grinding story telling lyrics. Tracks like the album’s name sake opener “Back For The First Time,” “There She Goes” and “My Hood” are sprinkled throughout the album giving it high energy and a break from the other songs that are more laid back and slower in tempo.
While most of the songs have a feature from R&B crooners, Cinto & LeJuan on the hook or rapper Dun Dil offering up 16 bars of truth, the tracks that Fluid does solo like, “Live It Up,” “Incredible” and “Dirty Shine” really show his full-on lyrical skills.
Though this album can be played from the beginning to the end… seriously there is no skipping cuts on this piece, some songs may grow old quick from voluntary repeat plays or from hearing it everywhere you turn are what could be potential singles, “Amazing” featuring Supa and “Playa” featuring Cinto.
The only negatives are that on some of the songs, some of the lyrics and delivery are noticeably borrowed from Fluid’s more mainstream colleagues; nevertheless, the album is dope and shows lyrical maturity from what he has put out in the past. In addition, the production from Germany’s The Cratez is excellent, is a refreshing sound to hip hop heads and could make this album an instant classic.
